Hey guys I’m looking for a song I only got some of the lyrics because it was kind of hard to understand. “Summon the courage of your conviction” “hold it high like everyone can see” “wonder who you are when you are free” and it’s sounds like it might be pop or a beat??
The song I am looking for sounds just it was being sung by Stevie Wonder but it's not. I believe some of the lyrics include, "Every time i close my eyes....
Hi, I’m trying to find a song where the chorus repeats “Alright on the night” (not the Ritchie family) and towards the end the singer sings “got to be got to be alright on the night”.
Please help me find an old 90’s song. I think it was country. Very sad song about a man that lost his wife. Is raising his daughter. Says they are ok until he smells winter/the smell of the dust when the furnace comes on. I can only remember one line...”I’m ok until September!” I thought it might be Curtis Wright but it’s not listed with his music!?
I’ve heard this song but never found out the artist. You guys are awesome ! I will recommend this to everyone who knows lyrics but not the song or artist. Thank you! I love the song your a big help!!

Amazing! 🤗 My Dad taught my 8 siblings and I a very similar version of this song over 60 years ago! Dad’s version was also call and response, had slightly different lyrics but told the exact same story about the goat eating 3 red shirts, being tied to a railroad, coughing up the shirt and flagging the train.
As a family, we have taught and sung this song to subsequent generations. I wondered about the origin of it and am delighted and surprised to have found this.
IA song on John Prines Playlist & sung by a male, maybe him. I only heard one sentence of the song. "Do you need some money?" Or it may have been "Do you want some money?" I have looked everywhere, including your "fuzzies". But just can't seem to locate it. I can't wait to see what you come up with!!!!! Thank you! Fun website, also, very thorough & user friendly!

So excited - been looking for the song and name of the band for 30 years - the album was mediocre in my opinion but this song was so pretty and as a performer in my 20’ s i used to sing it !!
I’m convinced this song doesn’t exist because i’ve been searching for a whole day. the lyrics go “my heart is aching for you don’t wanna scare you boy but you’re too good to be true”
Yes thank you. We lost our daughter to ovarian cancer back in 2018 and someone made a beautiful video tribute of her, and used this song. It's hard to watch, but I finally have gotten around to searching for the actual song. Thank you so much for this service.
This was the song I was looking for , I always come to this site to find the name of the perfect song. It helps me every day. I can come on the website quick before the lyrics escape my head, and get my song on my playlist.
Years ago I heard a song while driving and the words were so powerful to me, I’ve never forgotten that song. I have searched but I’ve never found anything online. I even called the radio station that played the song and they were unable to give me any additional information about the artist. I only heard it once but it was a woman singing about her gratitude for her children and giving them back to God. Part of the chorus lyrics were.....”With thanksgiving and gratefulness, our daily bread; For the children you placed in our care; in my ____ for the _____, the least I can do is bow and give them back to You.” One verse ended with ....” thank you for our little boy” and another with ....”thank you for our little girl”. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.
