Placed on top of some game case boxes and a table top to fit my height
And that was the best I could write I mean it's not bad but it's not good
Wrote a lot of awful shit kept going where a lot would quit and I got good
Started to see improvement in D's music and what I could do with it
It's like I could see my fate, took a leap of faith and bought some newer shit
Monitor headphones, a mic and recorder, addicted to this game it's like a disorder
I had decided that I wasn't trying to play childish games it was time to move forward
If you don't want to be the best, what the fuck do you write for?
I was aiming for top spot, long shot, instead I got sent to a psych ward
Suicidal thoughts I had before music gave me a purpose
Before I discovered that I could work verses hotter than a thermos in a furnace
Drove the crazy kids crazy drumming my fists on the walls
Tapping the floors, rap-rap-rapping some more, soon I could spit The Call
This attitude of not giving up when the getting's rough has made for better shit
I never quit, that's why I can compare with artists out there like Trevor Smith
The question is how can I better this now, make this a fresher freshman mix
Let D step in to edit it within a second he's turned the shit venomous
Damn, how much time's this dude spending on the outro?
How come all of his tracks are so hard and he got em up for free download?

Well if you're in it for the money you ain't in it for the music and I'm in it for the fucking sound
Our music is made for ourselves to enjoy and if you happen to like it, great
