YOU CAN NOW GO DIRECTLY FROM GOOGLE
MAPS TO THE UBER APP!
For users who have both the Uber and Google Maps apps installed on their Android or i
Phone, Google Maps will show you the time to your destination in an Uber and seamlessly let you jump into the Uber app with one tap. The feature is now live for users in over two dozen cities around the world, and more to come in the future.
Users will see the option to “Get an Uber” at the bottom of the screen when they select either the transit or walking options. The time listed for the Uber trip is the estimated travel time to your destination.
For over a decade, Google Maps has been helping people explore and move around their city. Now, with our shared mission, we're thrilled to be working with them to make that easier than ever.
