Postal Blue

by The Softies

on The Softies (1996)

special delivery postage due
you've returned me to sender, haven't you
I know better than to fall for you
but you're so much in your postal blue
if I were smart I'd stay away from you
I can't stand you in your postal blue

I know I never cross your mind
I know I'm not really your kind
misreading signals all the while
reading too much into your smile

special delivery postage due
you've returned me to sender, haven't you
