i>Summer, 1969. Four boys from Belgium set out on a journey. Destination: Woodstock. These four boys were a lot like you and I. They, uh, had funny haircuts and they listened to music their parents didn't understand. They were in a band some of you might have heard of called, uh, Front 242. Anyway, they didn't have a lot of money in those days and, so, getting to Woodstock from Belgium was going to be a bit of a problem, so they decided they were going to hitchhike. That presented an even bigger problem because they were in Belgium and Woodstock was in New York and there weren't a lot of cars driving that way, but, uh... But that was okay. They knew they'd get there somehow. And they were just about to set out on the open road when they discovered that they had another problem: somebody had stolen all of their hash.
What the hell is hash?
You know, Greg, hash, weed, pot, grass, marijuana, the old one-legged Vietnamese hooker?
Oh, hash!
Right. So, anyway... They certainly couldn't head to Woodstock without their hash, and so, um, they decided they were going to find the scoundrel that had taken it from them and, one way or another, well, they were going to get it back.
So, how'd they get it back, Eric?
Well, Greg, that's what this song is all about...
Freeze
Shoot to kill or die
Today has no means
He's alone and anonymous
But written in his cells
He's got the marks of a genius
I'm looking for this man
To sell him to another man
To sell him to another man
At ten times his price, at least
I'm looking for this man
To sell him to another man
To sell him to another man
To make us rich and famous
I'm looking for this man
Who knows the rules of the game
Who's able to forget them
To realize my aim
One: you lock the target
Two: you bait the line
Three: you slowly spread the net
And, four: you catch the man
I'm looking for this man
To sell him to another man
To sell him to another man
At ten times his price, at least
I'm looking for this man
Who knows the rules of the game
Who's able to forget them
To realize my aim
One: you lock the target
Two: you bait the line
Three: you slowly spread the net
And, four: you catch the man
(Lock the target, bait the line
You spread the net and catch the man
You lock the target, bait the line
You spread the net and catch the man)
Freeze
Shoot to kill or die
