Hooked On Flight

Logbook

on Hooked On Flight (1991)

[Verse 1]
I've flown to California, Utah‚ Arizona
Crossed the Rocky Mountain's Great Divide
Seen a lot of faces‚ been to a lot of places
I've had a lot of good friends in my life

[Verse 2]
Back some years ago‚ I was flying home
Stopped in Dalhart, Texas for the day
Called a ride into town, few new friends that now I've found
In the morning lights they watched me fly away

[Chorus]
I've got a Logbook of memories of everywhere I've been
The date‚ the kind of plane, if i was with a friend
Day or night, IFR
In time just how far
I've got a whole logbook full of memories

[Verse 3]
When every flight is over‚ I entered in my logbook
The trip I made that day across the land
Besides the regulations, sometimes i like to turn
To that intro flight the day it all began

[Chorus]
I've got a Logbook of memories of everywhere I've been
The date, the kind of plane, if i was with a friend
Day or night, IFR
In time just how far
I've got a whole logbook full of memories

[Bridge]
If you ever get the chance, come sit down for a while
Thumb back through the pages
It will make you laugh
It will make you smile

[Chorus]
I've got a Logbook of memories of everywhere I've been
The date, the kind of plane, if i was with a friend
Day or night, IFR
In time just how far
I've got a whole logbook full of memories

[Outro]
I've got a whole logbook full of memories
