My Innermost

When You Love Somebody

by Joana Zimmer

on My Innermost (2005)

When you love somebody. Like the way I do. what good is it pretending. When you love somebody.
When you find what it means to.
You want it to be part of everything you do.
Baby that's the way that I'm loving you.

Heres my story. There's now question that I'm in a state of misery for the place my hearts at.
I stayed resistant.
Tried to keep my cool.
But this playing by the book wont seem to do.

When you love somebody. Like the way I do. what good is it pretending. When you love somebody.
When you find what it means to.
You want it to be part of everything you do.
Baby that's the way that I'm loving you.

Acting clumpsy. I run out of lines.
I played my share of hard to get but it won't turn out right. So I surrender.
All of me to you.
Cause this masquerade I'm in will never do.

From this moment I wil take the chance on being me.
I know it's just the only way to be.
I guess I have to. just stop and leave the follish games behind.
There ain't nothing but a waste of time

When you love somebody. Like the way I do.
What good is pretending. When you love somebody.
When you find what it means to.
You want it to be part of everything you do.
Baby that's the way I'm loving you.

When you love somebody. Like the way I do.
What good is pretending. When you love somebody.
When you find what it means to.
You want it to be part of everything you do.
Baby that's the way I'm loving you.
