The black seeds of bigotry pessimism and elitism festered in your soul
Choking out all that makes life worth living
The joy of an unburdened heart and spirit

You'll never be a part
You'll never truly live
Somehow you find a way
To put down everything
Around you
No matter what it is
Somehow you feel the need
To build yourself up
By tearing others down
I just don't understand what goes through your head
And what kind of fire you feed
It's not so hard
To look on the bright side
And keep from falling down
