I like to watch the moon cycle, I like to watch it phase
I like to watch the moon cycle, I like to watch it wax and wane

The moon has its own gravity, it makes tides ebb and flow
And since our orbits are in sync, then only one side shows
I want to see the far side of the moon, but there's no way
'Cause the only way to see it is to be in outer space

The darkness moves across the moon, it goes from right to left
I'm learning so much now I want to be a scientist!
